dive into throw me the statue

i'm not gonna lie, i first stumbled upon the greatness that is Throw Me The Statue through the Urban Outfitters website. don't look at me that way - it's a cool store okay? i happened to like the indie song that was playing in the background so i proceeded to look 'em up.

what i found was something truly awesome. of course it was the dirty album picture that first caught my eye but their music is so cool that it even topped that beauty (no pun intended). based in Seattle, these five guys have been making music together since 2004 but it was only in 2007 that the band really came together as a whole.

they've been featured on Pitchfork and NPR so soon enough we should be hearing much more from them. in the mean time, here are their best tracks. they'll make you think of chillaxed summer times.
