that's right bitches, it's time to wake up to the next big thing! The Morning Light are pretty much the Purevolume phenomenon of the moment, consistently ranking highly across the site's charts. formed in Pittsburgh, the fivesome are gaining some serious prominence across the US indie scene with their Jack's Mannequin-esque sounds and slightly whiny croonings.having recently played nearly 150 concerts across the country and featured heavily on MySpace, it's just a matter of time before these guys strike gold and the big $$$. in fact, only nine months after their first show they were signed to indie label Fearless Records. quite the achievement eh? click HERE to listen to my personal fave, the cheerful 'Safe Bet' and you'll see what all the hype is about. deserved or undeserved? you decide.
